Today we had the talented Esther Friedman as our guest.  She performed in the Mixed Roots Film & Literary Festival's Friday night performance and blew everyone away with her ability to channel family members right before our eyes!

Esther’s one-woman show gives new insight into what it really means to grow up bi-racial in America. Her parents, a laconic Jewish Dad, and a wise cracking African American mother are stars in this dramedy in which Esther determines the answer to why she has an aversion to dating black men.

You might remember Esther Friedman from the What Happens in Vegas Stays in Vegas spots. Writer/Producer of webseries Me Myself and Us TV. Writer/Performer of Random Sharp Objects: How I Got the Past Out of My Ass, A drama/comedy of her experience growing up bi-racial in America.

Episode 75: Post Election

Well, we did it.  And we didn't. 

We discuss the historical event of Barack Obama being elected President and where we were when it all went down.  We also discuss the disappointment we feel that California still chose to discriminate by passing Proposition 8 (banning same sex marriage).  We've come a long way and there's still a long way to go.
